In this OSRS Roving Elves Quest Guide, we’ll go through all the steps to complete the quest.

This guide is a part of our OSRS Optimal Quest Guide.

Roving Elves Quest story & info

This is a short quest that follows the Elven quest line. After completion of this quest, players get to choose between a Crystal Shield or Crystal Bow.

  • Key (obtained during the quest, I’ll show you)

Roving Elves Guide

Quest Start

Travel to Isafdar by taking the charter ship from Catherby to Port Tyras.

Speak with Islwyn in Isafdar to start the quest.

Afterward, speak with Eluned next to him.

If these two aren’t there it’s because they move around, hop worlds until you see them in this location.

Getting the seed

BANK EVERYTHING except for your Glarial’ Pebble and some food/potions to take on a lvl 84 Moss Giant without armour/weapons.

Now make your way to Glarial’s Tomb (southwest of Dwarf Cannon Quest start)

Travel options:

  • OR Fishing Guild via Skills Necklace
  • Teleport to Barbarian Outpost via Games Necklace

Use your Glarial’s Pebble on Glarial’s Tombstone.

Kill the Moss Guardian

Pick up the Consecration seed they drop.

Return to Eluned in Isafdar.

Planting the seed

Teleport to Barbarian Outpost with a Games Necklace.

Board the raft in Baxtorian Falls.

Now use your rope on the rock.

Then use your rope on the dead tree.

Open the door.

Once inside the tomb, we will need to get the key from the crates in the eastern room first.

And then run to the other side, through the fire giants to the final room from Waterfall Quest.

Here, plant the Consecrated seed anywhere in the room.

Now return to Islwyn (quest start) to finish the quest.

TIP: if you start Mournings End Part 1 right after this quest, you get a teleport crystal that teleports you to Lletya.

Here are the quest rewards for completing Roving Elves:

  • 1 Quest Point
  • 10,000 Strength experience
  • Crystal bow or Crystal Shield
