Quest Requirements
Skill Requirements
There are no skill requirements.
However, you have to kill a lvl 30 Temple Guardian dog WITHOUT magic as well as a lvl 30 Monk of Zamorak.

Priest in Peril Guide
Quest Start
Speak with King Roald in Varrock Castle to start the quest.
He is worried about Drezel in the temple east of Varrock.
Head to the temple east of Varrock.
Try to open the large door, and dialogue with mysterious voices pretending to be Drezel will start. (1-1)
They want you to kill a dog for them in the Mausoleum.
Now run North and go down the trapdoor.
Fight the temple guardian.
Once the Temple Guardian is slain, return to King Roald.
Let’s just say, he is unhappy. Turns out that dog was sorta important to the Kingdom of Misthalin, whoops.
Pure Essence
Now BANK and grab a bucket and also gear to kill a lvl 30 Zamorak which you can safespot. Additionally, you can grab 25 pure or rune essence now if you have the inventory space. Otherwise, you will have to bank once more.
Return to the temple.
Kill a Monk of Zamorak (lvl 30).
You can use Magic or Ranged for them and use the Pews to safespot.
They will drop a golden key, pick it up (only the lvl 30s drop golden keys!)
No speak go to the top floor of the temple and speak with Drezel in the cell.
Next, go down to the Mausoleum.
In the center, study the monuments until you find one with a key image.
Use your golden key on the monument with the key to swap them. You will now have an iron key.
Next, use your bucket on the wall in the center.
Finally, go back to Drezel in his jail.
After the dialogue, speak with him again for him to bless your bucket of murky water.
Use the Blessed Water on the coffin.
Talk to Drezel again.
Essence Run
The Quest is almost complete. All you need is to bring 50 unnoted essence to Drezel inside the Mausoleum.
If you already had space for 25 essence, go down to the Mausoleum right away.
Otherwise, bank and grab 25 Rune or Pure Essence from the bank and return to the Mausoleum.
Give them to Drezel.
Teleport to Varrock, bank again, and run to the Mausoleum once more.
Once he has 50 pure or rune essence, your quest is complete!
