In this OSRS Goblin Diplomacy Guide, we’ll go through all the steps to complete the quest.

Goblin Diplomacy Story & Info
General Bentnoze and General Wartface have an ongoing dispute about the color of their amour (goblin mail). The dispute is so bad, they are on the brink of a civil war. Once you enter the Goblin Village, you’ll notice they are already fighting. It’s your job to end this dispute.
During the quest, you’ll be tasked with bringing them an Orange, Blue, and Default goblin mail. They will model on one of their servants and eventually come to the conclusion that the default goblin mail is the way to go.
This quest requires some running around for ironmen, but players with access to the Grand Exchange can skip every step by purchasing the dyes and goblin mail beforehand.

Goblin Diplomacy Guide (Quick Version)
This version requires access to the Grand Exchange, where you will purchase everything beforehand. This speeds up the quest immensely, effectively allowing you to complete it in under a minute.
1. Purchase the items from the Grand Exchange
Purchase the following things:
- 3 Goblin Mail
- 1 Blue Dye
- 1 Orange Dye
2. Add the dyes to Create Blue and Orange Goblin Mails
Then add the dyes as follows:
- Add your blue dye to one of the goblin mail.
- Add your orange dye to one of the goblin mail.
- Leave 1 goblin mail brown.
Your inventory should look like this:
3. Travel to Goblin Village

The Goblin village is located North of Falador and East of Taverly.
Speak with the Goblin Generals to start the Goblin Diplomacy Quest.
They are arguing about the color of Goblin mails. Tell them you will help them.
Then, talk to them again to show them the first goblin mail.
Repeat this 2 more times, they will settle on the original goblin mail.
And the quest is complete!

Goblin Diplomacy Guide (Ironman Version)
This is the ironman-friendly version of this quest. Where I’ll show you the location of the goblin mail, and how to obtain the different dyes around Gielinor.

1. Supplies for the Blue Dye
First, travel to Falador Park.
Inside the park, buy 2 Woad Leaves from Wyson the Gardener. Offer him 20 coins for it.
2. Supplies for the Yellow Dye
Next, travel to Rimmington (hopefully your house is located there, otherwise walk from Falador).
Pick some onions from the farm.
3. Gather supplies for Red Dye
Next, run towards Port Sarim and purchase 3 redberries from Wydin’s food shop.
Hop worlds to avoid waiting for it to restock.
4. Visit Aggie in Draynor Village
Next, run towards Draynor Village.
Here, you can pay Aggie to make you 3 different dyes:
- Yellow Dye (2 onions + 5 coins)
- Red Dye (3 Redberries + 5 coins)
- Blue Dye (2 Woad Leaves + 5 coins)
Combine the Red and Yellow dyes to create Orange Dye.
5. Travel to Goblin Village
Next, we’ll travel to Goblin Village to start and finish our quest.
Before we speak with the generals, let’s pick up the 3 goblin mails first.
Here are the locations:
Goblin Mail Location 1:
Go up the ladder in the middle of the Goblin Village and search the crate on the bridge to find your first goblin mail.
Goblin Mail Location 2:
Search the house southwest of the Goblin Generals to find your second goblin mail.
Goblin Mail Location 3:
Search the crate behind the Goblin General house to find your final Goblin Mail.
Starting and Finishing the quest:
Add the dyes to the goblin mails:
- Add your blue dye to one of the goblin mail.
- Add your orange dye to one of the goblin mail.
- Leave 1 goblin mail brown.
Then, speak with the Goblin Generals. Tell them you’ll help them find the most suitable goblin mail color.
Talk to them three times, they will check out all the colors.
Finally, they will land on the brown goblin mail (the default color) and your quest is complete!
