Gertrude’s Cat Guide
Quest Start
Speak with Gertrude. Her house is located just West of Varrock, in front of Juliet’s house from Romeo and Juliet.
She lost her cat and you agree to help locate it.
Before you leave, pick up some Doogle Leaves from behind her house.
Then, use the Doogle leaves on your raw sardine to create a seasoned sardine.
Now walk to Varrock square (or teleport) and speak with Gertrude’s kids near the newspaper stand.
For 100GP they will tell you the location of the secret spot where the cat is. Pay them and they’ll tell you the cat is in the lumberyard.
Walk towards the Varrock Lumberyard, or teleport there.
Once here, climb over the broken fence in front to access the Lumber Yard.
Climb the ladder
And you’ll find Gertrude’s cat. Use your bucket of milk on her.
And then feed her the seasoned sardine the same way.
Then, climb back down and start searching the crates scattered around the Lumber Yard.
Until you find the message that you found the kitten.
The location of the kitten is random so you have to search the crates until you find it.
Once you have the kitten in your inventory, climb back up and use the kitten on Gertrude’s cat.
They will walk back home to Gertrude.
Next, make your way back to Gertrude’s house to finish the quest.
