🗺️ Dust Devil Location

Dust Devils are found in two locations:
- Catacombs of Kourend
- Smoke Dungeon (from Desert Treasure)
Unless you are going to use a cannon, you should always kill them in the Catacombs of Kourend as that location is easier to access.

You can get to the Catacombs of Kourend using a Kourend Castle Teleport which requires 66 Magic and 60% Arceuus Favour.
Alternatively, you can use the Xeric’s Heart Teleport on your Xeric’s Talisman.
Finally, you can use the Kourend Castle Teleport from anyones P-O-H by going to World 330.
Dust Devil Gear Setup
Since Dust Devils have no magic defence, you can wear proselyte armour for its prayer bonus and still hit like a truck.
Only players with access to max mage gear (Ancestral) should wear that.
Bringing anything lower than that such as Mystic or Ahrims will give diminishing returns as you’ll be blowing through prayer potions.

You can of course melee Dust Devils as well, in which case you should bring your best DPS gear.
Are Dust Devil Tasks Worth It?
YES.
Not only are dust devils super worth it, they should be extended if you have the available points.
These monsters are SUPER profitable and deliver INSANE experience rates when bursted or barraged.

How to burst Dust Devils
In order to burst Dust Devils, you will need to have a fast ranged weapon (e.g. darts) to aggro the dust devils on you.
Then you will go to one of the corners and run left to right until they are all stacked on each other.
Once stacked, burst or barrage them on autocast.
Rinse and repeat!
The Quick Video Guide below will show you how to set this up.
Where to Cannon Dust Devils
Dust Devils can be cannoned in the Smoke Dungeon.
You should remember the Smoke Dungeon from the Desert Treasure quest where you had to obtain the Smoke Diamond.
