In this OSRS Cook’s Assistant Guide, we’ll go through all the steps to complete the quest.

This guide is a part of our OSRS Optimal Quest Guide.

Cook’s Assistant story & info

In this quest, you are helping the Lumbridge cook by gathering ingredients for him. He has a birthday cake to make for the Lumbridge Duke and is too busy to get them himself. (He doesn’t seem to know about the Grand Exchange).

In return, he will give you some cooking experience and let you use his cooking range the ‘cook-o-matic’.

This is one of the original quests that came out with the original game. It’s super short and functions more as an introduction to questing than anything else. Players have to complete this quest to start the Recipe for Disaster quest series.
